Prof. Antonin Pavlicek

ANTONÍN PAVLÍČEK received the B.S. degree in Applied Informatics in 2010, his M.A. in Information and Knowledge Engineering in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in Informatics in 2009 – all three from University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic. He also completed media studies at Charles University in Prague (PhDr). From 2005 to 2013, he was an Assistant with the Department of System Analysis, from 2013-2018, he has been a Senior Assistant and since 2017 he is deputy head of the Department of System Analysis, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, Prague University of Economics and Business. Since 2010 he is Senior Assistant (2010-2017 head of department) at Department of Informatics and Analytical Methods at University College of Business in Prague. He has published over 100 papers including 35 JCR/WoS/SCOPUS indexed papers. His research interests include new media, social media, information management and information security. He has been a program committee member of several international scientific conferences (IDIMT, CONFENIS, System Approaches), he is editor of a number of Special Issues in Information journal and actively involved in several industry projects and grants.
