Dr. Anupam Singha Roy is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, India. He obtained a master’s degree in chemistry in 2007, and PhD in Chemistry at the University of Kalyani (West Bengal) in India in 2013. During which, he managed a 5-year research project on oxidation and oxidative bromination reactions using polymer supported catalysts. He began his postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, followed by at CSIR–Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP). In 2016, he was awarded his first international postdoctoral fellowship by the Royal Society of Chemistry and spent two years at EBRI, Aston University. He spent another 2 years from 2018 to 2020 at the Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials (RCPTM), Czech Republic. He has published many scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, and he is also serving as an Associate Editor and reviewer for reputed international peer-reviewed journals. His specialized areas of research are sustainable nanomaterials synthesis like graphene oxide, polymer composites, MOF etc., heterogeneous catalysis for organic transformations, environmental remediation technologies, biodiesel production, waste-to-energy innovations.
