Dr. Arief Nurrochmad, M.Si., M.Sc. Pharm. is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He is actively conducting research in pharmacology and toxicology. His research interests are clinical toxicology, molecular pharmacology and toxicology, neuropharmacology, and the pharmacotherapy of degenerative disease. His invention of derivatives of benzylidene cyclohexanone, benzylidene cyclopentanone, and benzylidene acetone, and the therapeutic uses thereof, was granted a US patent in 2004.
