Barjeece Bashir holds a BS in Geography from the Government College University, Faisalabad (Pakistan), an MS, and a Ph.D., both in Cartography and GIS from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals. Barjeece Bashir has worked as an intern in the Lahore Development Authority Strategic Policy Unit working on the digitization of the road network of Lahore and Kasur, Image Scrutiny of Ortho-Rectified Stereo Satellite Imagery, DSM, DTM, NDSM, and Contour maps, and worked as College Teaching Intern at Government Post Graduate College Gojra. Barjeece Bashir’s areas of interest focus on GIS, remote sensing, urbanization, and climate Change.
