Mexico aalvarez@uaem.mx He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrochemistry from the University of Southampton (UK) in 1999. The scientific contributions of Dr. Alvarez are reflected in his 65 publications (with +1380 cites in Scopus) in ISI journals and his participation as an invited lecturer at several international congresses. He has been teaching Electrochemical Engineering at the University of Morelos (Mx) since 2003 and has taught graduate (23 students) and post graduated students (38 students) in the field of electrochemical wastewater treatment and clean energy production. His research interests include clean energy conversion, environmental electrochemistry, and electrochemical engineering, aiming to develop novel and promising electrochemical technologies.
