Bin Xu, M.D., is a physician-scientist in thoracic oncology whose work focuses on the molecular pathogenesis of lung cancer and its clinical translation. His research integrates three connected directions: (1) mechanisms linking oncogenic programs with epigenetic/transcriptional regulation, (2) tumor–microenvironment crosstalk that drives immune escape and therapy resistance, and (3) development of clinically usable biomarkers by combining computational multi-omics with interpretable AI on digital pathology. His studies aim to turn mechanistic insights into robust risk stratification and treatment-decision tools for lung cancer patients.
