He has a bachelor's in Physical Education, specialism in Exercise Physiology, master's in Adult and Child Health, and Ph.D. in Physical Education. He has experience as a professor at undergraduate and graduate levels in the disciplines of Physical Activity in Health and Illness, Scientific Methodology, Exercise Physiology, Human Physiology, Sports Training, Exercise Biochemistry, Neurophysiology, Endocrine Physiology, Physical Assessment, Applied Nutrition to Physical Exercise, First Aid, Cytology and Histology, Athletics, Writing and Formatting Scientific Articles, Research Seminar and Intervention Projects, Health, Social Equity and Territory, and Special Topics in Health Management and Physical Activity Epidemiology. He is currently a professor at the Physical Education course (Undergraduate) and at the Postgraduate Program in Health Program Management and Services (Collective Health concentration area) at Ceuma University. In the Graduate program, he guides in the lines of research in Health Promotion, Education, Management, and Practices. In addition, he coordinates the extension and research project on Physical Exercise and older adults' Health at Ceuma University. He is also a reviewer of national and international journals and conducts research on the following topics: Physical Exercise and older adults' Health; Physical Exercise for the Treatment of Chronic Diseases.
