EDUCATION: M.Sc. in Biology and Ph.D. in Physiology at Università degli Studi di Milano, Milan, Italy. Her training include a doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Physiology, University of Zurich, a post-doctoral fellowship in Cellular Biology at Dept of Medical Pharmacology, University of Milan, and at the CNR, Institut of Neuroscience, Milan. RESEARCH INTEREST. We are interested in characterizing the molecular mechanisms of cell communications and in evaluating the dynamics of cellular responses. Our goal is to apply the information gained through these studies toward the development of novel approaches for the treatment of neurodegenerative and metabolic diseases.
