Prof. Christian Mulder is teaching Ecology at the University of Catania. Previously Principal Research Scientist at the RIVM Laboratory for Ecotoxicology, he still focuses on the roles of microbes, plants and soil invertebrates as monitor, motor and moderator of environmental changes, embracing the interplay between landscape ecology and climatology, up to statistical and ecological improvements in global change modelling. His aim is the refinement of diagnostic and prognostic parameters in ecological modelling to be used in trophic stress and resilience studies.
