Dr Ciprian Iliescu is ERA Chair and Director of the eBio-hub Center of Excellence in Bioengineering at the National University of Science and Technology, Politehnica, Bucharest. He completed his PhD at the same university. He has been affiliated with IMT Bucharest, Nanyang Technological University, the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology ASTAR Singapore, the National University of Singapore, and the Regional Institute of Oncology Iasi. He is member of honour of the Academy of Romanian Scientists. He has led a number of projects in the field of bioengineering.
