I am affiliated with the Unidad de Investigación y Desarrollo en Alimentos (UNIDA), where I am responsible for the Conahcyt National Laboratory for Therapeutic Innovations and Controlled Release Systems (INNTE-SILCO) and the Nanotechnology Laboratory. I have extensive experience in the areas of Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, specializing in the development and physicochemical characterization of micro- and nanostructured carrier systems for bioactive compounds and bacteria to generate functional foods and innovative treatments for various diseases.
