Background: Medication-related harm, including adverse drug events (ADEs) and medication errors, represents a significant iatrogenic burden in clinical care. Digital health technology (DHT) interventions can significantly enhance medication safety outcomes. Although the clinical effectiveness of DHT for medication safety has been relatively well studied, much less is known about the cost-effectiveness of these interventions. Objective: This study aimed to systematically review the economic impact of DHT interventions on medication safety and examine methodological challenges to inform future research directions. Methods: A systematic search was conducted across 3 major electronic databases (ie, PubMed, Scopus, and EBSCOhost). The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines were followed for this systematic review. Two independent investigators conducted a full-text review after screening preliminary titles and abstracts. We adopted recommendations from the Panel on Cost-Effectiveness in Health and Medicine for data extraction. A narrative analysis was conducted to synthesize clinical and economic outcomes. The quality of reporting for the included studies was assessed using the CHEERS (Consolidated Health Economic Evaluation Reporting Standards) guidelines. Results: We included 13 studies that assessed the cost-effectiveness (n=9, 69.2%), cost-benefit (n=3, 23.1%), and cost-utility (n=1, 7.7%) of DHT for medication safety. Of the included studies, more than half (n=7, 53.9%) evaluated a clinical decision support system (CDSS)/computerized provider order entry (CPOE), 4 (30.8%) examined automated medication-dispensing systems, and 2 (15.4%) focused on pharmacist-led outreach programs targeting health care professionals. In 12 (92.3% ) studies, DHT was either cost-effective or cost beneficial compared to standard care. On average, DHT interventions reduced ADEs by 37.12% (range 8.2%-66.5%) and medication errors by 54.38% (range 24%-83%). The key drivers of cost-effectiveness included reductions in outcomes, the proportion of errors resulting in ADEs, and implementation costs. Despite a significant upfront cost, DHT showed a return on investment within 3-4.25 years due to lower cost related with ADE treatment and improved workflow efficiency. In terms of reporting quality, the studies were classified as good (n=10, 76.9%) and moderate (n=3, 23.1%). Key methodological challenges included short follow-up periods, the absence of alert compliance tracking, the lack of ADE and error severity categorization, and omission of indirect costs. Conclusions: DHT interventions are economically viable to improve medication safety, with a substantial reduction in ADEs and medication errors. Future studies should prioritize incorporating alert compliance tracking, ADE and error severity classification, and evaluation of indirect costs, thereby increasing clinical benefits and economic viability.

The primary purpose of this study is to solve the economic growth acceleration model with memory effects for the quadratic cost function (Riccati fractional differential equation), using Combined Theorem of Adomian Polynomial Decomposition and Kashuri–Fundo Transformation methods. The economic growth model (EGM) with memory effects for the quadratic cost function is analysed by modifying the linear fractional differential equation. The study’s significant contribution is to develop a linear cost function in the EGM for a quadratic non-linear cost function and determine the specific conditions of the Riccati fractional differential equation (RFDEs) in the EGM with memory effects. The study results showed that RFDEs in the EGM involving the memory effect have a solution and singularity. Additionally, this study presents a comparison of exact solutions using Lie symmetry, Combined Theorem of Adomian Polynomial Decomposition, and Kashuri–Fundo Transformation methods. The results showed that the three methods have the same solution. Furthermore, this study provides a numerical solution to the RFDEs on the EGM with memory effects. The numerical simulation results showed that the output value of Y(t) for the quadratic cost function in the economic growth model is significantly affected by the memory effect.

This work proposes and investigates the existence and uniqueness of solutions of Riccati Fractional Differential Equation (RFDE) with constant coefficients using Banach’s fixed point theorem. This theorem is the uniqueness theorem of a fixed point on a contraction mapping of a norm space. Furthermore, the combined theorem of the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) and Kamal’s Integral Transform (KIT) is used to convert the solution of the Fractional Differential Equation (FDE) into an infinite polynomial series. In addition, the terms of an infinite polynomial series can be decomposed using ADM, which assumes that a function can be decomposed into an infinite polynomial series and nonlinear operators can be decomposed into an Adomian polynomial series. The final result of this study is to find a solution of the RFDE approach to the economic growth model with a quadratic cost function using the combined ADM and KIT. The results showed that the RFDE solution on the economic growth model using the combined ADM and KIT showed a very good performance. Furthermore, the numerical solution of RFDE on the economic growth model is presented at the end of this work.

Quaternion is a four-dimensional and an extension of the complex number system. It is often viewed from various fields, such as analysis, algebra, and geometry. Several applications of quaternions are related to an object’s rotation and motion in three-dimensional space in the form of a differential equation. In this paper, we do a systematic literature review on the development of quaternion differential equations. We utilize PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta-analyses) framework in the review process as well as content analysis. The expected result is a state-of-the-art and the gap of concepts or problems that still need to develop or answer. It was concluded that there are still some opportunities to develop a quaternion differential equation using a quaternion function domain.

Multi-objective integer optimization model that contain uncertain parameter can be handled using the Adjustable Robust Counterpart (ARC) methodology with Polyhedral Uncertainty Set. The ARC method has two stages of completion, so completing the second stage can be assisted by the Benders Decomposition. This paper discusses the systematic review on this topic using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). PRISMA presents a database mining algorithm for previous articles and related topics sourced from Scopus, Science Direct, Dimensions, and Google Scholar. Four stages of the algorithm are used, namely Identification, Screening, Eligibility, and Included. In the Eligibility stage, 16 articles obtained and called Dataset 1, used for bibliometric mapping and evolutionary analysis. Moreover, in the Included stage, six final databases obtained and called Dataset 2, which was used to analyze research gaps and novelty. The analysis was carried out on two datasets, assisted by the output visualisation using RStudio software with the " bibliometrix" package, then we use the command 'biblioshiny()' to create a link to the “shiny web interface”. At the final stage of the article using six articles analysis, it is concluded that there is no research on the ARC multi-objective integer optimization model with Polyhedral Uncertainty Sets using the Benders Decomposition Method, which focuses on discussing the general model and its mathematical analysis. Moreover, this research topic is open and becomes the primary references for further research in connection.

In this paper, we investigated a three-dimensional chaotic system that models key aspects of a monetary system, including interest rates, investment demand, and price levels. The proposed system is described by a set of autonomous quadratic ordinary differential equations. We analyze the dynamic behavior of this system through equilibrium points and their stability, Lyapunov exponents (LEs), and bifurcation diagrams. The system demonstrates a variety of behaviors, including chaotic, periodic, and equilibrium states depending on parameter values. Additionally, we explore the multistability of the system and present a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) controller design to stabilize the chaotic behavior. The effectiveness of the controller is validated through numerical simulations, highlighting its potential applications in economic and financial modeling.
