Associate Professor at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Maritime Studies, Rijeka, Croatia. Graduated (PhD) in 2015, in the domain of satellite navigation. Former Officer of the Navigational Watch (merchant navy/maritime transport). Active academic researcher, university teacher and mentor for 16 years. General research interests in maritime, satellite navigation, navigation information systems, maritime education and training, transport, and data visualisation. Member of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN, London, UK), the Adriatic Aerospace Association (A3, Zagreb, Croatia), and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU, Zagreb, Croatia).
