David Alejandro Jimenez Sierra received in 2015 his degree as a professional in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad del Quindío; During his postgraduate studies, he participated in the research groups GIDET of the Universidad del Quindío and automatización of the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, in which he participated in researchs such as “Development of a gesture recognition methodology in an interactive system for DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) surgery planning using supervised machine learning algorithms ”and“ Development of a clinical support system based on stochastic processing to improve spatial resolution of diffusion and structural magnetic resonance imaging with application to the procedure of Tumor ablation ”respectively. In 2018 he received a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira. Currently, he is carrying out his Doctorate studies in Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Sede Cali, financed by the scholarship granted by the Ómicas program (Optimización In-Silico Multiscale ion of sustainable Agricultural Crops), his studies are focused on the fusion of remote image data applied to crop phenotyping and disaster detection.
