Prof. Deepali Gupta is working as a professor in the Chitkara University Research Innovation Network (CURIN), Chitkara University, Punjab, India. She specializes in software engineering, cloud computing, and genetic algorithms. She has worked with undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as scholars, throughout her career and plans to continue to involve students in her research, participate in projects, and guide students' independent research. She has published over 50 research papers in national and international journals and delivered numerous conference papers. She has guided many Ph.D. and ME scholars and held various administrative positions, such as head (CSE), dean of academics, IBM (Spoc), remote centre coordinator (IITB), coordinator for the IITB Spoken Tutorial, executive committee member of the computer science division of the Haryana State Centre (IEI), president of the Sangam Kala Group (Kurukshetra, Mohali, and Chandigarh Chapter), member of the Anti-Ragging Committee, Academic Council, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Board of Management, chairman of the SC/ST cell of MMU, Sadopur, and principal (MMGI, Sadopur). She is an active member of various professional bodies, such as the IEI (India), IETE, ISTE, etc. In addition to being editor-in-chief of the MMU journal, she is an editorial board member and reviewer of various journals. Her fields of interest include software engineering, cloud computing, machine learning, and BlockChain.
