I am an Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive clinical and academic experience in joint replacement, orthopedic oncology, and complex trauma. After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery and completing a residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Messina, I have been serving as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at the University Hospital of Messina, performing over 2000 surgical procedures, including high-complexity elective and trauma cases. My scientific activity focuses on orthopedic oncology, periprosthetic infections, joint replacement (primary and revision), and trauma surgery. I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and have been invited to lecture and teach in international cadaver labs and congresses. I hold the Italian National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for Associate Professor in Diseases of the Musculoskeletal System and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. I am an active member of national and international societies such as SIOT, SOTIMI, IORS, and CIOSM.
