Mr. Do Thanh Tung is the owner of Viet Seed Company Limited in Hanoi, Vietnam. He has more than 20 years of experience and leads a team of scientists specializing in the breeding and development of rice, hybrid maize, forage grasses, and other feed crops. His research focuses on drought-tolerant and ratoon rice varieties, as well as pest- and disease-resistant maize hybrids. In addition, he is exploring new research directions on biomass production from herbaceous crops. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. program (2025–2028) at Hiroshima University, Japan.
