Eduardo Espinosa is Assistant Professor of the BioPrEn Group at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Cordoba (Spain). He has undertaken temporary research roles at the University of Girona (Spain), University of Grenoble (France), and RISE PFI (Norway). He is engaged in regional, national, and international projects, as well as collaborative efforts aimed at knowledge transfer with various companies. His research is centered around the realms of circular economy and bioeconomy, with a key focus on the transformation of agro-industrial waste into valuable resources through biorefinery processes for diverse applications, including the paper industry, food packaging, biomedicine, and environmental bioremediation.
