Eileen Chaves, PhD, is a pediatric psychologist with the Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition (CHWN) at Nationwide Children's Hospital since her appointment in September 2017. She earned a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 2011. Her clinical and research interests include pediatric obesity treatment, disordered eating in pediatric obesity, and parental perceptions of pediatric genetic testing for obesity. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and Division 54 Society of Pediatric Psychology.
