Technological developments are things that must be followed by companies to achieve a competitive advantage to improve performance. To achieve and improve performance, companies need active employee engagement by encouraging motivation and fulfilling their job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable. The research sample is Information Technology (IT) companies located in the cities of Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia. Research respondents are system developers who handle system development activities for a project or part of an ongoing project. By using the convenience sampling technique 103 responses were obtained from IT developers. The research model analysis method uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with SMART PLS Ver 3.0 software. Empirical findings prove that motivation has a positive effect on the performance of IT employees, while job satisfaction is independent. Employee engagement does not directly affect employee performance, but the effect of mediation through motivation and job satisfaction can have a significant effect on employee performance. The research findings have managerial implications, in increasing high employee involvement, motivation needs to be encouraged to be more active and innovative, and facilitate the achievement of the desired results. AcknowledgmentThis study was made possible because of the full support of the Region III Education Service Institute (LL-DIKTI III), the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Research Center at Mercu Buana University, Jakarta.

Small food businesses have difficulty accessing banks for financing. The growth of the sharing economy through financial technology (FinTech) makes it possible for small enterprises to receive access for credit. However, not all small business owners want to receive financing from FinTech companies. This study aims to analyze factors affecting FinTech adoption in small enterprises and its impact on business sustainability. The modified UTAUT 2 model was applied in this study. There were 184 small food business owners participating as respondents. To analyze the causal relationship between variables, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was implemented. The results of the research found that knowledge, safety perceptions, performance expectations, social influence, facilitation conditions and price values affect FinTech adoption by small food business owners. Moreover, FinTech adoption influences small food business sustainability. Several important recommendations for researchers, the FinTech industry and policy makers are formulated.

The research process begins by identifying problems in the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) of the Republic of Indonesia. These several targets were not achieved by the end of 2019, sorting and conducting problem formulation, data collection, and preliminary studies. This process starts from January 2020 to May 2020. Following the research objectives, the research design used was a descriptive causal study with the variable Motivation, Transformational Leadership, and Organizational Culture as the independent variable and the Employee Performance variable as the dependent variable. The study population was all PUPR civil servants who had duties and directly related to planning activities and reporting systems. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Using the sample size technique from Slovin, the number of respondents in this study was 120 respondents. Field data collection was carried out by survey method using questionnaires, which were processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) version 3.0 program. The results show that the performance of the state civil servants at the Ministry of PUPR of the Republic of Indonesia is positively and significantly influenced by work culture, especially in the use of working time effectively and efficiently, and is closely related to how well a superior is as a role model who gives an example to subordinates in implementing time management well. This study aims to determine the implications of the Work From Home (WFH) policy on work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance with work stress intervention. While the approach that is used in this study, it is a quantitative descriptive approach. A total of 63 respondents is used as data in this study, they are employees of SMKN 9 Bekasi. The alternative method of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used to analyze this research, it is Partial Least Square (PLS). Testing the validity of each variable with its reliability is what is done in the first stage. Furthermore, testing the Implications of WFH policy on work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance with work stress Intervention is something that is done in the second stage. The positive and significant effect is shown by the work motivation variable from the results of this study on performance, as well as work discipline, it also shows a positive and significant effect on performance. Then, the negative effect is shown by the motivation to work stress and also work discipline to work stress, this also shows a negative and significant effect. And the last is the relationship between job stress and performance. This shows a positive and significant effect on performance.
