Essam M. Hussein currently works as Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Chemistry Department, Umm Al-Qura University (KSA) and Assiut University (Egypt). Essam does research in Design, Synthesis, Reactivity, Photophysical properties, Theoretical study and Applications of Polyfunctionalized Heterocyclic Compounds. Research Interest: 1- 1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition. 2- Photophysical and Theoretical Chemistry. 3-Design, synthesis and applications of optically active heterocyclic compounds. 4- Green Chemistry.
