Evandro L. Duarte holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the State University of Maringa (1997) and both a Master’s degree (2000) and PhD (2005) in Physics from the University of São Paulo - IFUSP. He has served as Senior Specialist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Biophysics Laboratory of IFUSP and, in 2008, undertook postdoctoral research at the CNRS, Strasbourg, France. He is currently Senior Specialist at the BioMembranes Laboratory of the Biophysics Group at IFUSP. His research encompasses condensed matter physics and biophysics, with emphasis on liquid crystalline systems, nanoparticles, and the interaction of lipid aggregates with biologically relevant molecules, employing techniques such as EPR, DSC, DLS/SLS, SAXS, XRD, optical microscopy, and magnetization measurements.
