Federico Valenzuela-Beltrán received his PhD in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2018. He works as a Professor at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa. He has published more than 30 papers in high-impact indexed journals, as well as papers in the proceedings of national and international conferences. His research topics mainly include performance-based earthquake engineering, reliability analyses, structures with energy-dissipating devices, and seismic hazard and risk analysess.
