Fabrice Fekam Boyom is a full Professor of the Biochemistry Department, Faculty of Science, and University of Yaounde I (Cameroon). As a Biochemist, his research activities focus on Natural products isolation, cell culture, cytotoxicity/cell viability assays, antiprotozoal assays, antifungal assays, antibacterial assays, and in vivo antiplasmodial assays using rodent malaria models. He has been awarded several research grants, such as The Senior Fullbright Grant (University of California, San Francisco, USA; 2000-2002), The OPCW Travel grant (2004), The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) (2007), The Wellcome Trust Bursary (2008), etc. He has published more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Fekam Boyom Fabrice is the Head of the Antimicrobial Agents Unit, Laboratory for Phytobiochemistry and Medicinal Plants Studies (University of Yaounde 1) since 1993.
