Dr. Filip Šuligoj is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Robotics and Production System Automation, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, Croatia. He received his M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. degree in robotics and automation from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Croatia, in 2009 and 2018, respectively. He joined the Surgical Robotics Laboratory at the University of Twente, the Netherlands, as a postdoctoral researcher in 2020. His current research activities are focused on the development of imaging methods and the control of multiagent robot systems with applications in surgical procedures. His research interests include the fields of industrial and medical robotics, machine vision, and artificial intelligence methods.
