I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati), India. My research interests are centered on synthetic organic chemistry, with particular emphasis on transition-metal-catalyzed C–H functionalization, photochemical and electrochemical synthesis, mechanochemistry, and sustainable catalysis. My research group, Catalysis for Sustainable Organic Synthesis (CSOS), focuses on developing efficient and environmentally responsible synthetic methods using readily available starting materials and greener reaction technologies. My broader research mission is to combine fundamental organic chemistry with emerging catalytic and enabling technologies to develop practical and sustainable approaches for the synthesis and functionalization of valuable organic molecules.
