Georgia Ntatsi is an Assistant Professor at the Laboratory of Vegetable Crops, Department of Crop Science, School of Plant Sciences, Agricultural University of Athens (AUA). She has been the Co-Founder and CEO of NUTRISENSE, a spin-off company of AUA, since 2023. She was awarded a Diploma in Agriculture from AUA, an M.Sc. Diploma from the University of Ioannina, and a Ph.D. from the Laboratory of Vegetable Production, AUA. She specializes in vegetable production, hydroponics, plant nutrition, plant physiology, abiotic stress, fruit quality, biofortification, biostimulants, nitrogen fixation, phytohormones, plant metabolism, organic farming, and vertical farming. She has extensive experience in determining inorganic nutrients in plant tissues and soil samples and quality parameters, greenhouse gases, biological nitrogen fixation, antioxidant parameters of vegetables, and molecular biology techniques. She is a reviewer for many scientific journals and a member of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) and the Greek Society for Horticultural Science (EEEO). She has published 90 papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, 38 in congress proceedings (Acta Hort.), 4 as book chapters, and more than 150 as abstracts in national and international conferences. She is the scientific coordinator and a member of 10 European and 37 National research projects.
