I received my Habilitation's Degree (H.D.R.: Doctor of Sciences) from University of Rouen (France) in 2008. I was nominated as Associate Professor at University of Aleppo (Syria) in 2010. I was a visiting Professor at University of Angers (France) in 2016. My European PhD thesis was carried out in collaboration between Blaise Pascal University (France) and Aalborg University (Denmark) and defended in 2003. I was a Visiting Researcher to Aalborg University in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2006. My main research interests are in the fields of design optimization and reliability (methodology innovation and industrial applications). I was the co-advisor of five PhD theses (2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2018) at INSA Rouen (France) and ENI Sfax (Tunisia) and a collaborator of a PhD thesis (2015) at Lund University (Sweden). In addition, I published peer reviewed works (tri-languages) in the fields of CAD/CAM/CAE, optimization and reliability and was a reviewer and editorial board member of several international journals and conferences. My current research activities are focused on experimental and numerical biomechanical studies (material properties of bone and design of orthopedic and orthodontic prostheses).
