I am currently a fixed-term research fellow (RTDa) at the Physics Department of Politecnico di Milano. Previously, I held two Post-Doctoral positions (2023–2024) at the same institution, following the completion of my PhD in Physics (2023), a Master’s degree (2019), and a Bachelor’s degree (2016) in Engineering Physics. My research focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of photonic devices, as well as the development of analytical methods for Time Domain Diffuse Optical Spectroscopy (TD-DOS) in the red to near-infrared range (600–1600 nm) applied to biological tissues, with focus on breast and lung tissue. I have developed substantial expertise in instrument development and validation under real clinical conditions, establishing a strong profile as a translational researcher.
