Giulia Sturniolo is a pediatrician and PhD candidate at the University of Padua, Italy. She received her MD from the University of Pavia in 2019 and completed her specialization in Pediatrics at the University of Padua in 2026. Her clinical and research experience has focused primarily on pediatric infectious diseases. Her publications have addressed pediatric COVID-19 and post-viral conditions, infections in immunocompromised children, antimicrobial stewardship in pediatric bone and joint infections, and congenital cytomegalovirus infection. Her current research interests include emerging arboviral infections, infectious disease surveillance, and clinical epidemiology. She is a member of SITIP, ESPID, and ESCMID.
