Dr. Guangyuan Zhang is now a Post-doc in College of Engineering, Peking University, China. He got his PhD degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London. He was a research assistant in the IoT2US Lab, EECS, QMUL. His research interests are spatial-temporal big data mining, machine learning and deep learning, GIS and urban computing.

Short Biography

Dr. Guangyuan Zhang is now a Post-doc in College of Engineering, Peking University, China. He got his PhD degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London. He was a research assistant in the IoT2US Lab, EECS, QMUL. His research interests are spatial-temporal big data mining, machine learning and deep learning, GIS and urban computing.

The 3rd Place

IoT2US Lab whose team consists of Bang Wu(QMUL), Chengqi Ma (UCL), Stefan Poslad (supervisor, QMUL), David Selviah (supervisor, UCL) and Wei Wu (WHU) won 3rd place in the premier competition of the 10th IPIN. There are fifteen teams in all from top universities, institutes and high-tech companies all over the world. This is one of the most world famous two indoor positioning competitions, IPIN and Microsoft Indoor Localization Competition (IPSN).
