Indexes in scientometrics are based on citations. However, in contrast to the journal impact factor, which gives only the ranking of the scientific journals, ordered by impact factor, indexes in scientometrics are suitable for ranking of scientists, scientific journals and countries. In this paper the h-index, h5-index, the World ranking the top of 25 Highly Cited Researchers (h > 100) and the ranking of 25 scientists in Hungarian Institutions according to their Google Scholar Citations public profiles are considered. These indexes (h5-index) are applied for making of the list of top 20 publications (journals and proceedings) in the field of Robotics. The World ranking is done of the best 50 countries according to h-index in year 2014. Data are obtained from the portal Scimago

The future of the modern world faces the appearance of different ways of mobility. Huge strive in today's world have gained autonomous vehicles. The paper explains how autonomous vehicles function as well as their advantages and disadvantages. New developments in autonomous vehicles are being accomplished and introduced to the user's demands. Many car companies have developed their own driverless vehicles and detected the problems within them. The major flaw of autonomous vehicles is cyber security because hackers are still able to break into the car's software system and disrupt it. This is a major issue which is still being dealt with. Autonomous vehicles have modernized the mobility of people, which means that people no longer have to come to the vehicle but the vehicle comes to them and are able to share transportation and thus lowering the traffic congestion and cost. Smartphone applications have been developed facilitating the carsharing system. Users consider these cars comfortable and stylish but expect high level of security. Autonomous vehicles enable the elderly, the disabled and physically limited people move much easier. Furthermore, autonomous vehicles reduce pollution and are environmentally friendly. It is anticipated that autonomous vehicles will take over the roads and are the future of transportation. They offer comfort, safety and good driving conditions. Hereafter, this paper represents important characteristics and features of autonomous cars.

The paper regards modeling, control and simulation of a quad-rotor rotorcraft machine that represents an advanced aerial robot. The main contribution of this paper focuses to the development of a flight simulator to provide advanced R/D tool suitable for control design and model evaluation of a quad-rotor systems to be used for control algorithms development and verification before working with real experimental system. The main aspects of modeling of rotorcraft kinematics and rigid body dynamics, spatial system localization and navigation are considered in the paper. Some high-level control aspects are considered, too. Several basic maneuvers (examples) are investigated and simulated in the paper to verify the simulation software capabilities and engineering capabilities.

A method of modeling and computation of industrial robots with rigid-link flexible joints actuated by flexible planetary gear drives is presented. Joint flexibility, as a predominant source of resource, often results in inaccurate tracking of prescribed robot trajectories. The authors consider an n-link industrial robot modeled by rigid-body linkage members interconnected by flexible joints, actuated by DC servomotors and a flexible planetary gear system. The single-link joint model with one flexible planetary gear unit has six degrees of freedom (DOFs). In the gears the periodical time-dependent tooth stiffness represents an essential excitation source and was incorporated into a dynamic model of a robot system. The dynamic model of the robot with flexible joints for the case of elastic planetary gear is presented on example of the SCARA robot's basic configuration for two DOFs.

The objective of this paper is to examine the types of autonomous vehicles already employed in transportation. It exemplifies the segments of transportation which already use autonomous vehicles. This paper gives an insight of the places in the world where autonomous vehicles are put in use. Furthermore, companies such as Volvo, Volkswagen, Airbus and WAYMO have showed their models of driverless vehicles ranging from trucks, buses, shuttles and helicopters. Moreover, the paper provides a description, testing methods, use and features of the each vehicle presented. In short, this paper aims to raise consciousness about the future of not just public transportation but also transportation of any other type such as good's transportation, delivery, vehicles provided for sightseeing, aircrafts etc.
