Prof. Han Liu is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of AI & Education Research Institute, School of Software, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China. Prior to that, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received the B.Eng. degree in software engineering and the Ph.D. degree in computer application technology from Dalian University of Technology, in 2012 and 2018, respectively. His research interests include artificial intelligence and data mining, and he is passionate about exploring the frontiers of artificial intelligence (AI) and developing advanced AI models to address challenges and applications across various domains. He has published more than 80 research papers in top-tier international journals and conferences, such as TKDE, TKDD, NeurIPS, ICLR, KDD, AAAI, IJCAI, SIGIR, WWW, CVPR, ACL, EMNLP and MM. He has been honored with titles such as, Xiaomi Young Talent, Ministry of Education - Huawei "Intelligent Base" Pillar Teacher Award, ACM China Rising Star (Dalian Chapter), Dalian City New High-Level Talent.
