Dr. Hande Sipahi is a Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Toxicology. She has been actively involved in nearly 30 national research projects as a principal investigator, researcher, or consultant. She has supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses and has presented her work at many national and international scientific meetings, contributing to the training of young researchers. Since 2018, she has held the title of European Registered Toxicologist (ERT). Her main research areas include drug safety evaluation, pharmacovigilance and the toxicological assessment of natural products. She is an expert in biocompatibility testing. Her studies particularly focus on anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, wound-healing, and anticancer mechanisms, as well as oxidative stress-related toxicity. Prof. Sipahi has authored more than 120 scientific articles indexed in international databases. She has also presented over 100 papers at national and international scientific meetings.
