Dr. Helen Ma is a staff hematology/oncology physician and Director of research of the cancer program at the VA Long Beach. She has received grants from VA Career Development Award and the Lymphoma Research Foundation studying military exposures and lymphoma. Her work as been published in peer reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. Through collaborations across federal agencies, academic institutions, Dr. Ma is committed to translating research findings into practical, real-world impact for Veterans. She is the VA Liaison to the Southwest Oncology Group Lymphoma committee and has multiple lymphoma clinical trials available for patients.
