Herman Grigore Vasile has a Ph.D. and is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Geography, Tourism and Sport, University of Oradea, 1 Universității St., Oradea 410087, Romania. His e-mail is: grigoreherman@yahoo.com. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Geography with the dissertation "The man and anthropogenic changes in Somes Plain." Vasile has published books, and scientific articles concerning cultural heritage and tourism. He is the co-author of the Crisana Maramures. Vasile also has the Geographical Atlas of Tourism Heritage award, awarded by the Romanian Academy in 2016.
