Was born in Talcahuano, Chile, in 1984. He received the Eng. degree in electronic engineering, and the M.Sc. and D.Sc. Degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Concepcion, Concepcion, Chile, in 2008, 2009, and 2016, respectively. Since March 2016, he has been with the Computer Science Department, Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, Chile, where he is an Assistant Professor. His research interests include automation and control, instrumentation, and energy conversion.
