Dr. Huijie Li is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Medical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Her research focuses on wearable and implantable biosensors for continuous biomedical monitoring. She works on electrochemical aptamer-based (EAB) biosensors, ion-selective sensing systems, and flexible bioelectronic platforms for real-time monitoring of electrolytes, proteins, and small molecules in biofluids. Her work integrates electrochemistry, nanomaterials, nanoporous electrode engineering, and minimally invasive biointerfaces toward next-generation personalized healthcare technologies.
