Biography
Prof. I. Díaz-Laviada is the leader of the Cancer Resistance Research group (CARE) at the University of Alcalá (Spain). She has been working on molecular pathways involved in cancer for more than 25 years. In particular, her interest has been focused on the role of the AMP-activated kinase in cancer resistance and its relationship with metabolism. She has published more than 80 research papers in the field.
