Dr. Iva A Popović is currently employed as a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Atomic Physics, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade, Serbia. Dr Popović completed a PhD in Chemical science in 2017 at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac, and an MSc in Biochemistry at the Chemical Faculty, Biochemistry, University of Belgrade. Her main research interests include photodynamic therapy for wound healing and cancer treatment, targeted drug delivery, and nanotechnology, development and testing of nanoparticle-based substrates for qualitative and quantitative analyses of small molecules (hormones, lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins, heavy metals).
