Dr Ivana Mladenović, Research Associate, focuses on experimental and theoretical research in the fields of material science and composite structures. Her main research fields are characterization of materials and electrochemical deposition technique for synthesis of different forms of mono- or multilayer thin films, and structural-morphological and mechanical characterization of them with potential application in microsystem and nanosystem technologies. She has expertise in mathematical modelling of mechanical properties (microhardness, creep and adhesion) of thin solid films and composite materials. A new area of interest is thermoplastic polymers for 3D printing, biomaterials, polymers for recycling, metal matrix composites, metamaterials, etc. In the period from 2011 to 2019, she was a participant in the project "Micro- and nanosystems and sensors for applications in power industry, process industry and environmental protection" (TR32008, 2011-2019). Professional skills: Optical microscopy, Vickers indentation hardness tester, electrodeposition techniques, utilization of software packages (MATLAB, Image-Pro Plus, Origin Pro, WSxM, AutoCad, Wolfram Mathematic, Gwyddion, Design-Expert etc.). Since 2011, she has been employed at the Center of Microelectronic Technologies, Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, where she works until now. Speaks English and Russian.
