Biography
Dr. Johanna Marcela Flórez-Castillo is chemist and Ph.D in Chemistry. Her research is focused on the design of antimicrobial peptides and the immobilization systems of biomolecules. Immobilization systems that she has worked with include the polymer systems of alginate, chitosan, and PVA, as well as iron oxide nanoparticles.
