Janetta Culita received an M.S. degree in Automatic Control and Computer Science (1993) and a Ph.D. Degree in Automatic Systems (2001) from the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest, where she currently is a full Professor. Her research interests include (but are not limited to) System Modeling and Simulation, System Identification and the Control of Non-Linear Processes, Signal Processing, Metaheuristic Optimization and Discrete Event Dynamic Systems.
Prof. Culita has been a member of the Romanian Society of Automation and Technical Informatics since 1995 and has been on the Executive Board of the Control Engineering and Applied Informatics Journal since 2008.
