I am currently an AECC Investigator (Spanish Association against Cancer) and Associate Professor at Salamanca University. I have a degree in Biochemistry at Autonoma University of Madrid (2005) and I obtained my PhD. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at Autonoma University of Madrid in 2010. I have more than 10 years of postdoctoral experience with a strong academic background in immunology and cancer research. My research line essentially focuses on the role of RHO GTPases and VAV proteins in T cell neoplasms and it has been supported by funding from the Carlos III Health Institute. I have published many works related to VAV and cancer in high impact journals (see further details in https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5218-0187).
