Dr. Lian Jiapang is an Assistant Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the State Key Laboratory for Conservation and Utilization of Subtropical Agro-bioresources, Guangxi University, affiliated with the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Sugarcane Biology and the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Agro-environment and Agro-product Safety. He earned his B.Eng. (2017) and M.Sc. (2020) in Environmental Engineering from Hubei University and Nankai University, respectively, and completed his Ph.D. in Agriculture at Zhejiang University (2024). Dr. Lian’s research integrates nanotechnology and agronomy to address sustainable agriculture challenges, focusing on the design of intelligent foliar nanofertilizers (e.g., iron/zinc-based nanomaterials) for crop nutrient enhancement, heavy metal stress mitigation (e.g., cadmium/manganese pollution control), and soil remediation. His innovative work, published in top-tier journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials and Environmental Science: Nano (11 SCI papers, 7 in Q1, 3 ESI Highly Cited, H-index 18), has advanced the understanding of nanoparticle-plant interactions and field-applicable green synthesis technologies. As a Guest Editor for Agronomy, he aims to promote interdisciplinary research on nano-enabled precision agriculture, bridging smart nutrient delivery systems, digital farming tools, and environmental safety.
