Prof. Jinming Ge received a BS and a PhD from Lanzhou University in 2005 and 2010, respectively. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Washington. He is the head of the Department of Atmospheric Physics, School of Atmospheric Sciences, Lanzhou University. He was selected as a leading talent in Gansu Province and one of the first batch of elite scholars in Lanzhou University's program. He is mainly engaged in the research on remote sensing inversion of atmospheric aerosol and cloud physical properties, analysis of their relationship with meteorological fields, and their climate radiation effects.
