Professor Jinn-Jong Sheu is a senior teacher at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology. His research fields include metal forming processes and die designs, CAE simulation of the forming process, and AI applications in the metal forming process. He has proposed many process and die design methodologies of flexible and universal roll forming processes, and forging and stamping processes. He had experience of designing flexible roll forming machines and the corresponding roll forming process. He had applied his research works to steel tube making, drawer slides for IPC servers, the fastener industry, etc. His research team is not only focused on the metal forming process and die design, but also on smart manufcturing technlogies to improve the quality and the efficiency of the roll forming process.
