I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Technology from the Celso Suckow da Fonseca Federal Center for Technological Education (CEFET/RJ), with an internship period at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I have teaching experience in higher and technical education, having worked in the Mechanical Engineering course at the Fluminense Federal Institute (IFF), in the Electromechanical technical course at the Foundation for Support to Technical Schools (FAETEC), and in the Production Engineering course at the Center for Distance Higher Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CEDERJ). I conduct research in composite materials, with an emphasis on composites reinforced by natural, synthetic, and hybrid fibers, as well as studies involving additive manufacturing of filled materials. Moreover, I also work on the incorporation of carbon nanotubes in polymeric matrices, aiming at improving mechanical and multifunctional properties. Another line of research involves the development and characterization of bonded joints applied to composite materials. Throughout my academic career, I have collaborated as a reviewer for scientific journals, including Composite Part C, Next Composites, and Hybrid Advances, among others.
