Josep Allué Creus is co-director of the Master of Phytotherapy and the Postgraduate Studies "Basis of Phytotherapy" and "Clinical Phytotherapy" at the IL3 (Continued Education Institute) at the Universitat de Barcelona, and a vocal spokesperson for Medicinal Plants and Homeopathy at the Collegi oficial de Farmacèutics de Barcelona (Barcelona official Pharmacists Association). A doctor in pharmacy from the Universitat de Barcelona, Allué Creus is a retired professor of plant physiology at the Faculty of Biosciences, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is also a corresponding academic of the Reial Acadèmia de Farmàcia de Catalunya (Catalonia’s Royal Academy of Pharmacy), a founding member of and spokesperson for the Board of Directors of the Spanish Society of Phytotherapy (SEFIT), and a member of the Natural Products group of the Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause (AEEM). His teaching disciplines and research interests include pharmacy, phytotherapy, plant physiology, and natural health.
