Ju-Hong Kim is a PhD candidate at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB). His research lies at the interface of endocrinology, metabolism, and functional food science, with a particular focus on phytoestrogen-based functional foods and their biological activities. His work centers on menopause-associated metabolic alterations, estrogen receptor-mediated signaling, and the effects of bioactive natural products on lipid metabolism. He is also interested in the analytical characterization of functional compounds using techniques such as LC–MS/MS and in the mechanistic evaluation of their potential roles in endocrine and metabolic health.
